Fashion Show & Auction 2012
This event is our annual fundraiser event.  Proceeds raised from this event fund our affordable and FREE programming throughout the coming year.  Please consider attending, we really need your support!  Please let us know if you are coming and purchase your tickets in advance online BUY NOW  Guests who purchase tickets in advance will have a door prize at check in.  Tickets will also be for sale at the door   

 

Special Guest Speaker!

We are very excited to announce Laura Kathleen from Project Runway Season 9 will be speaking at 7:45 in honor of all the hard work theses kids and teens

have done to create their own fashion show! 

Laura Kathleen also teaches fashion design at a high school in Saint Louis. She has worked under the direction of Stages theater, creating costumes for their summer productions. Recently, Laura Kathleen finished in the top 5 on season 9 of Project Runway! Check out her

 New York Fashion Week collection that was presented at Lincoln Center.

SBAP is offering an ALL NEW home school art classes this year!  This program will meet on Thursdays from 9am-11am.  This program is designed as a year long class with two sessions, one in the fall, and one in the winter/spring.
Students must sign up for a whole session. 
AGES: 5-12 / Teens are also welcome to enroll for a more independent but guided experience.
SBAP offers arty parties and birthday parties for kids, teens, and adults.  Check out our all new schedule for arty parties and dates for 2012-2013.  We offer party time slots Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30pm and Saturday & Sundays 1-3pm & 4-6pm
SBAP offers projects for troops to earn badges.
Troop projects can be scheduled on Wednesdays & Fridays from 3:30-5pm or 4-5:30pm.
Please call or email to make a reservation for your troop.
Art After School Fashion Project focuses on using the arts and professional artists to broaden the worlds of young people through teaching sewing and fashion design skills.  This program is for under-served youth 6th-12th grade who would otherwise not have theresources or ability to pay for this program.   This program is FREE to accepted students / after school on Thursdays 3:00-6:00pm
  Fall 2012: October 11th- December 13th 
Winter/ Spring 2013: January 17th - April 25th

Did you know that some of the best ideas ever were actually conceived over coffee!  Well it's not actually a proven fact but we happen to believe it to be true. We provide the hot cup of "Joe" and you bring us your creative conversation!   Coffee talk creatives are designed to promote creative strategies, discussion, community activism, and the sharing of ideas among neighbors, visitors, friends, businesses, parents, moms, and friends. Occasional Sundays 10am-12pm.
