We recently found this beautiful old singer sewing machine in the basement. And believe it or not it still works! We just couldn't resist putting it on display for all of you to see. It feels a little like there is some other force that brought us to this building originally. Who would have thought that the old South Side Sewing Machine Shop that opened in 1935 would now house a community based art studio that has a fashion design project.
