Laura Skroska has a background in Painting, Pottery, Costume Design, and Teaching.  Laura recently completed her Masters of Fine Art in Painting at Fontbonne University as well as working as the Teaching Assistant in the Pottery Studio at Fontbonne.  Her undergraduate work was in Theater with an emphasis in Costume Design from Southern Illinois State University.  Laura has also worked as a Special Events Costume Design Assistant at Touhill Performing Arts Center working with traveling productions, as well as working with children and adults of all ages teaching at Girl Scout Camps, and Children's Musical Theater Camps.

Eyan Mullet has an extensive background in Ceramics and Sculpture with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Sculpture from Southeast Missouri.  Eyan has showed his work at many galleries throughout rural and urban Missouri.  Eyan has worked for Southeast Missouri State University as a Sculpture Studio Teaching Assistant, and Gallery Assistant.  Eyan began his life long artistic journey in childhood learing all about the art and craft of ceramics from his mother who is a Potter.  Eyan believes working with children provides him with a great opportunity to pass on the knowledge he acquired from teachers he truly admired.

Michelle Leitheiser has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with an minor in Art History as well as special studies in Fibers, Jewelry Design and Ceramics.  Michelle has recently worked as a teaching artist at the Fine Arts Camp of New England as a lead instructor as well as many other creative retail and teaching positions.  Michelle is looking forward to teaching at SBAP as a new opportunity to embrace her own creativity to inspire the artistic minds of students.

From Sarah Rye Bliss, Executive & Artistic Director of SBAP.....
Happy New Year from my family to yours!  I would like to thank so many of you for your continued support of our unique community based arts program.  It has been with your support that SBAP has flourished and grown to become a creative destination for South City.  2013 was an exciting year for us as we opened our NEW POTTERY STUDIO, launched a new program for all ages called OPEN STUDIO, as well as a great partnership with ALIVE STL Fashion Week!  All of us here at SBAP are looking forward to 2014 as it is our 5th Anniversay being open to the public!  Stay tuned as we have an exciting year planned that we think families, kids, teens, adults, individuals, and groups of ALL ages will want to be a part of!  Throughout the coming year we plan to add more pottery wheels to the studio, expand our Gallery and Shop with Monthly Art Openings as well as additional 6 week workshops for kids, teens, and adults......
